The Holmen Rod & Gun Club will host a class presented by Ungentlemanly Training.

Course Description:  Next Level Pistol

This course is all live fire and requires 400 rounds, a modern defensive handgun in good working order, 3 magazines, holster, eye & ear pro, and weather appropriate clothing.

Course Description: This class focuses on the tactical employment of the sidearm. This is a stair stepped shooting program designed by Paul Howe of CSAT. Mechanical perfection, efficient movement, and surgical precision are the goals of this work.

The class is open to everyone. A club membership is not required to attend the class.

Course Description:  Landing The Plane: From pre-assault to calling counsel

If you are a concealed carrier and have never received formal training in opposed-force scenario training, this is the place to start.

It is the responsibility of all members to become familiar with the range rules.  Members are also responsible to educate any of their guests.  Below is a list of the General Rules; you can find specific rules for individual ranges on the Range Rules page.

General Rules

  1. Membership required.
  2. Paper targets on backboards only.
  3. No targets to be placed on framework or posts.
  4. No person handling firearms while others are down range.
  5. Always point firearms down range when at firing line.
  6. Action open and magazine unloaded whenever anyone is down range.
  7. Pickup targets and litter.
  8. Hearing & Eye protection is highly recommended.
  9. Holmen Rod & Gun Club is not responsible for accidents, loss, or theft.
  10. Anyone not following the above rules will be prosecuted under statute 941-20.
2015 Membership Applications PDF Print E-mail

2015 membership applications are available on the "Memberships" page!  We now have the ability to accept applications and payments online.  This will give you immediate access to the club.  Mail-in applications are still available on the "Memberships" page or can be picked up at the gate.  Please send in early as to not delay your access to the club!  Please keep in mind, annual memberships run for the calendar year (January thru December), regardless of when they are purchased during the year.  Processing of mail-in applications may take 2 to 4 weeks.
