The club will hold five separate gun raffles through the summer months with proceeds going to help offset costs of the recent rifle range project. 

Four of the raffles are for Springfield Armory XDM pistols, two Black 9mm pistols and two Black .40 cal. pistols. We want to thank Springfield Armory for providing their new XDM pistols for this raffle.  Details of the pistols can be seen on Springfield Armory's website at: http://www.springfield-armory.com/  One pistol will be drawn at each of the monthly club meetings in April, June, August, and October.  ONLY 200 tickets will be sold for each pistol raffle so get your tickets early. Tickets for the pistols cost $10 each or 3 for $20.

The fifth raffle will be for an Armalite AR50 .50 BMG Single Shot, Bolt Action Rifle. We want to thank Armalite for providing the AR50 rifle for this raffle.  Details of the rifle can be seen on Armalite's website at:  http://www.armalite.com/  ONLY 250 tickets will be sold for the rifle.  The drawing will be held at the November club meeting.  Tickets for the rifle cost $20 each.

All raffle tickets can be purchased from Holmen Rod & Gun board members or at any club meeting.

It is the responsibility of all members to become familiar with the range rules.  Members are also responsible to educate any of their guests.  Below is a list of the General Rules; you can find specific rules for individual ranges on the Range Rules page.

General Rules

1. Membership required.
2. Paper targets on backboards only.
3. No targets to be placed on framework or posts.
4. No person handling firearms while others are down range.
5. Always point firearms down range when at firing line.
6. Action open and magazine unloaded whenever anyone is down range.
7. Pickup targets and litter.
8. Hearing & Eye protection is highly recommended.
9. Holmen Rod & Gun Club is not responsible for accidents, loss, or theft.
10. Anyone not following the above rules will be prosecuted under statute 941-20.
